In that case he should just buy lunch everyday.
Nutrient dense bean salads hold dressings for a few days but tell your husband to get a grip
🤣 wtf? You can eat anything cold. Pack him a few hotdogs. My toddler loves them cold.
If you're the one making it, I'd make whatever it is you're already making. If he doesn't want to eat it cold, he can cook it himself or make something himself. I am super lazy when it comes to food for myself (not quite too lazy to not apply my own dressing haha) and will occasionally eat a cold slice of pizza or something instead of heating it up. But if he can't even use a microwave then he can just have pb&j every day 🤷♀️
Chicken wraps would be my suggestion. It's more of a meal prep thing for you, though....so tell him beef and cheese sticks 🤷🏼♀️
Sandwiches are very versatile. Cold pasta salads, egg salad sandwich, tuna sandwich, BLT, hummus and pita, greek salad, cold cuts and cheese, chicken salad with crackers
Ummm ok??🤔🤔😒😒🤨Is this for his lunch at work?.... I'm a delivery driver and dont have time to microwave leftovers, so I bought an electric lunch box that I can plug right into my van while still working. There's also sandwiches, cheese, meat and crackers.
We can fast. It won’t end him.
Please keep things civil. And yes. My grown man husband does eat like a toddler when fending for himself. Thank you to those who gave helpful advice. I’ll give those a try. Not that it is anyone’s business but sometimes he only has 5-10 minutes between meetings for lunch. So as much as I’m annoyed with his statement he’s just telling me the facts.
Fruit salad & yogurt, overnight oats: oatmeal, almond milk, chia seeds, banana slices, brown sugar. smoothies, sushi ☺️
Cold soups
Chicken Caesar pasta salad. An absolute favorite in my house and holds great. If you want the recipe just message me and I’ll type it out for you!
Cold meat sandwich or wraps Maybe even a meal replacement shake if hes that pressed for time?
I get this. My husband doesn't even have time to take a lunch sometimes. Pasta salads, with some kind of protein, are perfect for just eating out of the container. Especially in the hotter months if he works outside. And there are soooo many options. Also, tuna salads and chicken salads, served on either bread or toastadas. I usually prep for 3-4 days. Just put the bread or toastada in a separate baggy or container so it doesn't get soggy.

@Alyson hey mama can you shoot me over that recipe when you get a chance? Please and thank you 😊
@Melissa of course! Just give me a few I have to get these kids to school and have another cup of coffee 🤣
Thank you for more helpful recommendations. And @Summer thank you for making me feel seen. I like keeping the carb separate. I’ll see if that works.
You’re kidding right? I’m sorry hun but that is just down right lazy.. if he can’t do it himself don’t enable him by doing it for him. He is a grown man, not your child. He needs to grow up.
