I’ve got mine on Thursday at 41+4, I’m 41+2 today and cannot believe I’m still pregnant. My body is also not doing anything at all, I’m absolutely prettied to have a section, I am still undecided about whether to move it to Friday or Saturday. I completely empathise, I’m so scared, but have faith that you will make the right choice for you and baby and it will all be ok. We can do hard things!
Did you have an emergency first time? I had emergency for daughter and just had a planned c section for son. I was so nervous too but it was an amazing birth! So relaxed and if I was to do it all again i would chose c section again. Also found recovery much easier for planned.
@Claire it was an unplanned one. 3 days of failed induction led to it so yeah I am hoping I’ll be the same as you and find recovery much easier! Any tips? Thank you. Xx
Might sound strange but enjoy the moments. It was such a different experience and so positive I wish I had the same with my first. We took our phone to theatre this time for photos. Obviously take it easy after but I found just keeping myself active helped. Last time in hospital for 5 days so less mobile. Was in for 24 hours and going for steady walks within a few days this time. 3 weeks post section and I'm doing housework and out and about. 3 weeks after the first I was still laid on the sofa all day. Of course everyone is different so listen to your body.
I am also having a c section tomorrow 39+6 weeks, I am getting very nervous and anxious now x
