Hospital bag

Heyyyy I’ve got the upmost daftest question but as my due date vastly approaches, I need to start packing for my hospital bag. One daft question I do have is after I shower and wash my hair, I will need to blow dry it as it goes so frizzy! So am I allowed to pack a blow dryer and possibly some straighteners? Silly question but if I don’t ask, I don’t know 🤪

I am not too sure about a hair dryer, but my sister in law brought her hair straighter and she had no issues xxx

@Harriet thank you! I’m thinking they won’t allow it as a hair dryer will be too loud? I suppose I can pack one anyway just in case 😂 x

Honestly washing and drying my hair was at the bottom of the list after giving birth 😅😅

I didn’t even bother with washing my hair at the hospital 😂 I waited till I was at home where I’m more comfortable!!

I’m a huge over thinker and I’m thinking of the just in case im in there for a while and I’d rather pack everything including the kitchen sink than not enough 🤣 xx

I've just packed dry shampoo instead 😂

@Emily could you pack things like this in a secondary “incase” bag that you can leave in the car or get someone to bring through if you do end up staying longer? Sometimes there isn’t alot of room that’s all and it might just get in the way having too much stuff. I get wanting to be over prepared than under but I do think you’ll have more to think about once your there xx

@Amy that’s a brilliant idea, didn’t think of that! Thank you, that’s what I’ll do! Xx

Yeah you can take them

You can tske hair dryers some wards even have one there. The babies all se each other off anyway
