@Trinity she was supposed to get one at her 4 month shot appointment but my older kids got it so now I’m worried she will. She’s started to cough.
If your older kids have it now than i would take the baby to go get tested. If she doesn’t get have it, then I’d keep the kids separated
My son got the shot a while back but just tested positive a week ago at 7 months old. He’s been doing okay, just seems like a bad cold. Runny nose, lots of mucus and congestion, had 2 days of fatigue but doing my better now
My daughter got it last year when she was only 11 days old. She was. Hospitalized for about 8 days, but she pushed through and fought! It was scary, she needed to be on oxygen. Had hard breathing you could see her belly rapidly moving from how much she was struggling to breathe. She is now 12 months old and super healthy!!🙏🏻 prayers for your princess!!! Definitely have a humidifier for her and try to really suction her very often!! That helped us so much and also baby vapor rub!!!
My daughter got it 3 months and was put in the ICU for 4 days. She got through it but every sickness after that, she’s pretty much struggled with because of the damage to her lungs.
The first time My son had RSV he was about 4 months old. The second time he was just over a year. I’m pretty sure he got the RSV shot(thanks mom brain🥴) and his symptoms were very mild. The cough lingered for quite some time. Only reason I got him tested was because he had a fever that took forever to break. Nothing the can give her to treat, just give OTC cough meds, Tylenol, and baby Vicks on the chest and neck to help sooth the coughing a bit. With her being 2.5months- def talk to her Dr about the best meds that would work for her
I got Covid and my baby is 1.5 month and all she’s been is congested😭 but I do breastfeed and noticed she’s just congested.. praying it doesn’t turn into something bad
Get the RSV shot! RSV can be mild or it can be deadly. It’s different for every baby. But that young they usually have pretty major/severe symptoms
