Depending on the colour green
I think green poo is sometimes a sign they’ve had a lot of the fore milk and not as much of the fattier hind milk.
This is from la leche league website: ‘Please note: there are other reasons why a baby might have green stools, including being ill, taking medications, insufficient total milk intake and allergy. In a healthy baby who is gaining weight well, occasional green stools can be ignored’
I stressed so much about this with my baby omg. After speaking to doctors and breastfeeding consultants, green poo means baby is have more of the first milk and less of the fattier milk. What worked for me was feeding baby on one boob until it was empty. At first she wouldn’t empty it so on the next feed I would put her back on the same boob. Also, I had an overproduction. If that is your case and your boobs seem to get too full, pump some of the more clear milk out and stop once the milk and white. Message me if you need anything else xx
I’ve tried feeding only on one breast for the entire feed. So I don’t know why it’s happening 😫
That’s just sounding like normal to me.
