How did your cervical check/membrane sweep go?

I have my OB appt and I have a cervical check and membrane sweep I’m nervous of labor coming already Can anyone share their experiences pls 🥹

I hated it tbh. Cervical check is one thing but I would never do another membrane sweep and it did not help me go into labor either

For me it was more painful than contractions maybe because it’s very unnatural. My body tensed up and did not respond well. Everyone is different. Oh yea it didn’t help that they told me it wouldn’t hurt and would only be “uncomfortable “

i declined it and went into labor the next night!

I had like 4 membrane sweeps throughout pregnancies, and they did not help at all. I hear different things for other pregnant mommas. I don’t see a problem with them 🤷🏻‍♀️ and they don’t hurts that much. Feels the same as a cervical check to me.
