I wouldn’t worry, some take to it really fast and others take a while. You’re doing fab just keep offering x
Mines not been very interested but it’s still early days. She does seem to have a tongue reflex still. My first is a great eater and she didn’t really start to eat properly until closer to 1
I felt the same! I tried everything with my little girl in the past month and she refused a lot, cried as soon as anything came near her face, spat everything she/I put in her mouth out etc. All of a sudden the last few days she decided to eat small pieces fed to her directly. It doesn’t matter if it’s steamed vegetables or fruit, bread or egg, yogurt or whatever.. 🤷🏼♀️ it helps if she has a spoon or a piece of food in her hand to experience the texture and to play with… Don’t lose hope x
Food before one is just for fun, so i wouldnt worry too much. My baby girl will try almost anything but doesnt consume much more than a taste, apart from peaches and pear purees, she goes mad for them lol x
In exactly the same boat! 7 months old and not interested at all, doesn’t bring anything to her mouth and when I’ve tried to spoon feed she just spits it out and cry’s. Finding it very stressful! Xx
My boy is the exact same 🥲 he will occasionally suck on something like toast but I’m not convinced he’s ever actually swallowed any food!
My little boy has been the same and now all of a sudden It’s just clicked and he’s loving his food!! I think babies will just do things whenever they’re ready for it! X
My older two didn’t eat anything really till 9+ months and they’ve survived 🤷♀️
