My son was the same, I contacted school and gp asking for any advice to get him assessed for autism/adhd. Gp said he needs to be referred by school, school said he is fine. After asking him nicely for few years I got really angry as I just had my daughter and didn’t want to make 3 different food every day once she starts solids, so my husband took care of our daughter and I sat with our son at the table and said he needs to try the food I made. After begging him for 2 hours I took a bin bag and said that for every 5 minutes he doesn’t try the food I’m binning one of his toys. Well, after 45 minutes he tried (properly, not only a lick and spit out) and he loved it. It’s very drastic and if you’re willing to do that ( I was struggling a lot so be prepared I was ready to give up after 15 minutes) I would rather wait for your daughter to be assessed by a professional to exclude any underlying problem.
Is their safe food. You will get use to it. My daughter has autism and eats everything and anything. If she can't get anything she goes in the bin. You'll learn to understand dont worry about it. Just give them what their safe foods are and sometimes they go through phases of different meals xx
Following , I have No advice just have the same issue with my son who’s 7 , he has pasta, brioche, pizza with ketchup and that’s it! Will sometimes eat broccoli but nothing else 🙈 I’m hoping he’ll grow out of it …
