Food/Drinks for toddlers

Hello Beautiful Mommas, My 18months old started refusing all the foods he loves eating all at the same time. Could this be teething issues or what please? Is anyone else experiencing this at the moment? What do you advise? Also, please I would like to know what other drinks you offer your toddlers aside water and milk?

My little one is doing the same at the moment. No idea whether it’s teething or just an awkward phase! We only give water and milk.

I give mine decaf tea with milk (very weak) in the morning when I have my cup of tea and he loves it. Other than that just milk and water. With food, he’s literally only eating fruit, pasta, eggs and chips atm…it’s tough!!

I would just try offering 5 diff foods of differing textures 3x a day plus 2-3 snacks. Do your best. My Lo will always eat oatmeal with milk and chia seeds if she doesn’t eat her supper. It’s comforting and easy to eat I guess

Someone on here said: you pick the time and what foods and they decide how much. Try and not stress too much. Maybe give a warning for meal times so the baby knows its meal times. Eg. In 5 min we are going to have lunch, in 2 min we will have lunch. If my lo isn’t ready she will shake her head no to me and then I’ll give her a longer timer to finish playing

My little one is almost 10 months old and is refusing all the foods in the same time. She loves eggs but now pushes them away. I am so upset and don’t know how long it will last

Also going through this with my little one! I’ve been blending watermelon and adding a little to his water to make it a little more interesting. I also add some coconut water to his water as this is really hydrating.

Thank you so much for sharing all this tips with me. I hope this phase will pass soon..xx
