I had 7 losses before I got to see anyone and I've just had my 8th loss

@Laura so sorry for your loss how long was you waiting to see anyone ? I think it’s cruel to make high risk woman wait

I had progesterone the day I found out and asprin and blood thinner injections and I still had a loss. I read so many success stories, but I wasn't one of those lucky ones 😢

I got referred in June got to see the consultant in November we didunt start trying again till September this year and I've got a phone appointment with the consultant in December x

I’ve had 2 losses this year and recently found out I’m pregnant again, I was referred to gyena after my second so I spoke with the medical secretary and she told me to speak with my gp and he said if I have a scan at 6 weeks and show him the report he’d prescribe it but he also referred me to epu as well and they didn’t see me but the dr agreed to prescribe me progesterone pessaries, it may be worth you asking your gp to see what they say! X

The reason they can’t give it is because if you’re having an ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage it’s not going to stop it from happening it will only help the bleeding stop. Some women bleed during pregnancy anyway and it is natural for bleeding to happen. But with a miscarriage if they were to give you progesterone it’s going to stop the bleeding and if everything hasn’t come away then you’re going to end up with an infection. But in a way I do very much agree with you. It should be offered and they should scan from 4 weeks and prescribe it if baby is in the right place if not then it shouldn’t be prescribed until they know it’s in the right place. Also I’m now very high risk with every future pregnancy I have because I’ve only 1 tube and the hospital told me that the day I ring and say I’ve got a positive test they have to get me in and scanned straight away so why can’t they do that with women that bleed?

@Lisa I asked my gp & she said they can not prescribe it it had to be epu to do it then once they have the dr can reissue the prescription.

@Kaitlyn totally agree with you I understand about mc & etopic but it goes against the fact that if u see the recurrent mc clinic they give it u to start from the day of a positive so it’s a diff rule there

@Cazz sorry to ask but how come you were taking both the blood thinner injections and aspirin as aspirin alone is a blood thinner. X

See I’ve had 7 losses now and I’ve never seen anyone about them. No one’s been in contact with me, no investigation to why I’ve lost so many no nothing. It frustrates me that they can’t help us women that have had losses in the past. They should have a protocol where they should give high risk women the progesterone and keep a close eye on them. It’s awful the way we get treated xx

@Kaitlyn sorry for your losses 😔 you should definitely contact your gp and ask about being referred cos that seems a lot to not be referred to be investigated xx

@Kaitlyn I had lots of bloods done and I have a blood mutation called Factor v Leiden which is a high risk of miscarriage so I was prescribed both. I see your last message about noone reaching to you about your losses, unfortunately you have to push yourself to be referred or have further tests as to why. Speak to your doctor or a nurse have the dates of all of your losses and ask for bloods, pelvic scan and I have my first gynecologist appointment next week x

@Cazz I have done ive been pushing for them to see me for the last 4 years. I’ve reported to pals for neglect as I nearly died on the 1st November. I was at the hospital every day begging and pushing them to see me and every day they said the same thing “wait until your scan that’s all we can suggest” and then I found out they lied to my doctors about false scan results, blood test results, had students scanning me without consent. A student nearly killed me and she got away with it. My 2.5 year old was nearly without her mother this Christmas. I’ve spoken to several doctors who can’t investigate my situation due to 5 losses being from rape and abuse. I’ll never know why I keep miscarrying. After having my tube taken and my baby they told me I had endometriosis spots again but still waiting for someone to speak to me about it and when I asked my doctor about how nobody has rang she said it’s not important and I should forget about it.
