Yes!! I was honestly debating whether he was teething early but I’ve seen loads of people say theirs is doing the ssme!
Yep mine does too, I think she does it to soothe herself sometimes, she doesn't have a dummy
My baby does this and even did so in the womb, she would always be sucking her hand in scans and when she was born she had a little mark on her hand where she had sucked it all along 🥹 i think it’s a comfort thing but does make it confusing for hunger as she does also do it when hungry xx
It's just constant! It gets in the way of feeding and it makes it tricky, anyone have any tips on how to encourage him to move his hands for breastfeeding?
Yes! My little lady is 10weeks & absolutely loves sucking on her hands. Has done for the past 3 or 4 weeks now. She doesn’t have a dummy so I think this might be a comfort thing for her. I did wonder if she’s teething early as she’s also super dribbly. She can soak through a couple tops a day so I’ve now had to start putting bibs on her. Not sure if it is teething though as she’s not in any discomfort x
Mine does that although she normally is hungry and ready for a feed when she does it (not every time though) and mine doesn’t have a dummy because she refused from the start
