Indulge in the things that make you, you! I like to play games, or crochet. What are the hobbies you've had to put down because of family life that you can pick back up again? If nothing works, pick up something new.
I’ve recently started coloring 😂
Read a book Call friends and family for a chat - or invite them round for a cuppa or glass of wine if they’re local Have a bubble bath Do a crossword or Sudoku Cook or bake Do an online yoga class Learn something new online Make a photo album or photo book Start getting Christmassy
Aw love I used to have this when my hubby worked 2-11pm I hated it!!! Trying new recipes, evening walks (only in summer though unless it’s safe to walk in the dark where you are), phone calls to catch up with people, also joined some local women’s groups and went on some evenings out with them but I guess that only works before the babies come along. I also started colouring and painting!
My partner works nights so leaves us at around 6pm & comes home for 7am. I usually do bath & bedtime then clean up & watch tv or facetime friends😂 it is lonely but we see him much more now x
