Mine is not crawling, but he can go from belly to push back up to sit recently and is trying to pull himself up to stand everywhere lol. I think he might skip crawling lol
Hey my LB is the same if he falls from sitting I have to sit him up 🤣 he refuses to go on his front to attempt crawling but absolutely loves his push walker or holding hands and walking every baby different I kept getting stressed over milestones but just relaxed over them now every baby is different xxx
My boy was the exact same and then one day just started crawling not long after turning 10 months x
My girl likes to do an army crawl which involves just propelling herself forward on elbows and right foot. She can get herself into a crawl position but just prefers moving like a reptile 😂
Mine started crawling just at 10m but before that he was very headstrong. Would get frustrated but would have a melt down if anyone tried to help or assist him. They're all so different, just go with the flow :)
My first didn’t crawl until 10.5 months, the problem with her was simply lack of motivation lol. Some babies never crawl and just go straight to walking. Keep encouraging your baby to practice different movements - put toys on the couch or a pillow and have him kneel to play with them, build towers just out of reach so he has to scoot forward to knock them down, help him practice standing
10.5months and not even close🙈 Can roll but doesnt, has always hated tummy time and still does, loves to sit tho, i think he is lazy and likely going to skip crawling and maybe bum shuffle like my niece did🙈 x
10.5 months and isn’t crawling, refuses to go onto his knees and isn’t pulling to stand. Definitely lazy but he’ll get there when he gets there I’ve stopped comparing to others because it’s not worth the stress x
Thanks so much for your comments. Oh, I know that they all go on their own time. My first was crawling at 8.5 months and walking just before her 1st birthday. He just refuses, which I accept, but it is soooo frustrating because if only he could move, he would be much happier, which only means that I would be too. Obliging to a helpless toddler AND a helpless baby is much harder than if it was just one of them... But then again, I am the only one who can help them, so I should be grateful I can still make my babies happy 😊 He does look ile he is on the big size for his age, and he is extremely attached to me. It's as if he is still trying to process the fact that him and I are not *one* and that being apart is not the end of the world. So if he is 8n any inconvenience (whether it's stuck on his back or simply sat in dad's arms), he shouts and cries and only stops if I pick him up.
He will do it when he is ready,, bit I've so much about the importance of not skipping the crawling stage for brain development and motor function that my mind just wonders. I do have a scientific (neuroscience specifically) background so I just can't help it... But thank you all again :)
I would try not to worry yourself too much about it! I reckon as soon as you put your christmas tree up he’ll suddenly know how to crawl to get to it, that’s what my 1st did a couple of years ago! x
Mine is 10 months just sits or rolls doesn’t attempt to crawl
My boy army crawls, backwards. He's good with his arms he just doesn't attempt his legs. He can roll back to front but not the other way, he's done it a few times but think more of a fluke. He can't pull himself to sit/stand & doesn't cruise along furniture, but he likes standing up/walking holding our hands. I get worried about milestones but then I keep remembering all babies are different, and some even skip the crawling stage. My eldest was a bum shuffler x
Every single babe is different. He may start crawling tomorrow or he may just decide to walk 🤷🏻♀️ absolutely nothing to worry about x
