Baby schedule upside down

Ever since my baby was born she always went to bed late. She’s 13 months now and still goes to bed late lmao. She usually goes to bed between 9-10pm and wakes up between 9-10am as well. Sometimes she’s up until 10:30pm. I’ve tried waking her up earlier and/or making her stay up all day but it doesn’t matter she will not go to bed before 9pm. The earliest i’ve ever put her to bed was 8:30pm 😂 I see all these posta about babies going to bed at 6-6:30pm and i just don’t understand LOL Anyone else has/had a late sleeping baby?

My daughters 14.5 months and goes to bed around 11:30🤷🏼‍♀️

@MaryKate wow 😂 what time does she wake up usually?

Mine always went to bed late 10-12 most nights and she'd wake round 9 12 months +. I'm working now and she wakes at 7:30 and goes to bed around 9 or 10

Yes! We had a late sleeping baby! My firstborn wouldn't get up until at least 12pm and stayed up passed midnight on a regular basis. It made sense with my husband's work schedule too. People criticized me for it but my child was getting plenty of sunlight, time with me, and time with her dad. And me and my husband were able to have time to ourselves as well. It worked out great for our family, I'm not concerned about a strict schedule until she's closer to starting school.

I’ve tried that and jokes on me my son woke up even earlier than his normal 6-7am wake ups. 😂😂😭😭 So I try to stick to an earlyish bedtime between 8-9pm.

My son wakes up later if he goes to bed earlier and vice versa lol

My baby does 7-7 I cant get him to stay up any later as he just falls asleep on the couch max hes been up is like 7:20😂 xx

You say she's always gone to bed late, have you tried changing her routine so she goes to bed earlier? What's your routine like?

9-9:30

Yes. We did our best to slowly move up bedtime, but we followed her lead

My son is my first and only and led what the doctors' nurses told/did while in hospital and followed suite started bedtime routine about 6-6:30 bed by 7 he woke 3-4 times overnight but woke for the day around 6 always worked for us. Maybe try how to train them for daylight savings if you want like half an hour earlier bedtime routine then keep going or if you have a health vistor nurse or sleep nurse around they maybe able to offer advice.

Yep! We’ve always been on about the same schedule as you. I’ve tried to force it earlier but it just doesn’t work for us 😅
