I'm trying to help my friend. She left a bad relationship. He about best beat her to death. She moved from a different state to the state i live in now. How do we get her kids adopted for Christmas privately. We don't want to risk him finding her. He's found her once before

Contact the salvation army and st Vincent de Paul. If they can't help they should be able to point you towards someone who can.
Restraining order, emergency custody. Adoption can't take place unless parental rights are voluntarily forfeited or legally revoked by a court. This is from my personal experience, not a lawyer
