Strongly recommended to sit islamically. So any Muslim bought in a religious household sits to pee. So millions men around the world do including my husband.

@Halah oh really!! I did not know that! Any reason? Or just culturally based? I thought they used standing toilets with the hose to avoid wiping? But I might be incredible wrong about that
Yes, We do use a hand held bidet, men and women have to wash private with water every time use toilet. We also wipe tho lol. Well it's because the prophet muhammed done it and we are taught to follow his example. Hygiene is very important to Muslims, because we have to pray 5 times a day and we wash certain parts of body ritually before that. So that's probably a huge part of the reason.

@inco When men stand to pee, it’s dirty, they can splash urine everywhere including their clothes (unknowingly too) as Muslims we have to wash ourselves after every visit to the toilet and leave no trace of urine on our body or clothes. We pray 5 times a day and that must be in clean clothes and clean body.
Sometimes if he has to poo, feeling lazy, or if he’s really hot he will sit then spray his balls with the bidet 😂

My ex would sit when he was at home he would do it out of respect to keep the bathroom clean. He was taught it as a kid. I definitely appreciate it never had pee splashes lol
Not just to pee… Mine will do it just because he’s about to take a break in there/hide out watching reels and sports 🤣 I don’t blame him, hell I do the same thing. Now after too long I definitely let potty princess know it’s time to vacate the bathroom or it’s about to be a group activity! Come help me keep the zoo man!

Mine always sits
I wish he would sit to pee. I hate cleaning the bathroom with two grown men who splash pee everywhere because they think it's not masculine to sit and be more hygienic. I'm making sure our son learns to sit when he goes to the bathroom and I don't care what others think. It's way more hygienic and guys need to be clean too.
