Absolutely not!! & if that makes you a bad mom I must be a terrible mom because I’m taking mine clearance shopping after Christmas.
I could afford new unused toys but much prefer buying bargains from Vinted!! Definitely buy second hand 👍😊

there is no problem doing that, do what you have to. as long as toys are clean and working the kids will love them.
No however once they move on from the preschool age it would be difficult to get away with second hand stuff. Although you can only give what you can afford long term it will probably affect them. My dad for example would never allow us to wear second hand clothes or hand me downs as he grew up with nothing.

My LG has hand me downs that ive gotten from my sister. Her youngest is a small age 5. She's just given me some dressing uo costumes this time around fir my lgs 3rd birthday.i even told her to gift them to her if she wants. Kids don't know it's secondhand and nor do they care. It's normally the adult that cares. My sister got her 5 year old the disney princess castle this year 2nd hand and a frozen castle thing. Perfect condition. Some kids get these toys and never play with them but they cost a bomb to buy. No shame In secondhand. The main point is seeing you kids happy.
There are some gifts that my son wants that aren't sold at the normal shops as he is into some older style games we have gotten some from Amazon but have gone to 2nd hand shops/trade in game shops to get some.
there is NO problem with this. kids mess up toys so quickly anyways lol, they only look new for like 5 minutes 😂 any toys are fun toys i promise ❤️
