It took me 5 months post surgery and i had previously gotten pregnant very quickly twice before. It felt like forever at the time but in hindsight it really wasn't. The only cause for concern would be if your periods were odd compared to what is normal for you. Particularly if they were very light/short/non existent but also painful because that can be a sign of Ashermans, which is a rare side effect of surgical management.
@Sarah thank you 🙏🏼 I’m not going to give up I do want a rainbow baby . Were you tracking your ovulation by using LH strips and bbt temp level ? I’m start tracking both LH strips and bbt temp and maybe in next 4 months if I don’t get pregnant by then I’ll just make an appointment with my gyn doctor see which fertility medication is covered by my health insurance. And congratulations 🎉 on your rainbow baby
I had a MC at 15 weeks and had a D&C on June 7th. I ovulated on July 4th and will be 23 weeks on Thursday 💖 Everyone is different & every pregnancy is different. Maybe bring your concerns to your OB and see if they will perform a US to look for scarring or something?
@Michelle thank you for your advice I’m definitely going to talk to her about my concerns and my appointment is on Dec 17th
I’m sorry, ttc after miscarriage is rough. My OB said that fertility is only effected once you have 2 or more D&Cs, so you should be good on that front. I used progesterone and I highly recommend it. Usually drs offer a prescription only after 3 miscarriages, which is ridiculous. So I just got some that is marketed for menopause. I used Kokoro brand (got it at Sprouts) and it was great. I used it until 18 weeks pregnant and it made my pregnancy so much better. But I’ve heard from several people that it does wonders for getting pregnant too If you’re nervous about it: https://www.tommys.org/baby-loss-support/miscarriage-information-and-support/pregnancy-after-miscarriage/taking-progesterone-early-pregnancy
@Emily thank you I try it out
so sorry to hear about your Missed miscarriage. Took me about 4 months. My dr’s told me not to worry if it took me longer to get pregnant again. But it’s worth asking their opinion
yes a missed miscarriage at 12 wks. took a while but i think its not related.
I had a d&c and got pregnant right away after. But I had to be on letrozole to get pregnant in the first place because I was not ovulating and had irregular periods prior to my miscarriage. They couldn’t figure out why I wasnt ovulating just that I wasnt and the medication helped me a lot.
Hi I’m using the pre mom app first time had my mc end of sept but nothing so far but started using the app doing the tests it’s quite good app and tracking my temp also frustrating that nothing happens fell last time on 10dpo as was only the once haha but tried last month same day and day 11 nothing but hoping app will help me with it
I had a d & c for a missed miscarriage. I’m sorry you’ve had to go through that. It took me 7 months after the surgery to fall pregnant again and that turned out to be a chemical pregnancy. Then 3 months later I fell pregnant again and I’m due in 10 days! It did take us a long time to fall pregnant the very first time though in fairness. 3 months is nothing really to be honest, just try and relax and track as you have been it’ll happen. Best of luck 💕
