It’s possible it’s the birth control, but it’s probably more likely the major life changes being a new parent brings. You could try and switch out, but it might be better to treat the mental health symptoms, and potentially consider medication or therapy. You’ve got this 🫶🏻 ❤️

Oh yes, could be your Birth Control. I personally know that birth control fucks me up. Mentally and physically too! I’ve tried a lot of different methods and none have worked for me. At 23 I stopped using anything hormonal and I just used condoms (I’m 31 now) and it was the best decision EVER! It took some time to detox but i definitely felt a difference in my mood my skin and weight. The thing here is that you have to be super conscious and ALWAYS use it. I’ve never had a scare. I think before you think you have mental health issues address the problem with your OB and change your pills. Therapy is great and all. But the hormones can definitely fuck you up.

Yes girl birth control is literally so bad for you

I had the implant for about 9 months and it was absolutely horrible. I didn't feel like myself. My confidence was gone, self-esteem was low. I hated how I looked. I started working out and eating super healthy and I wasn't losing any weight. I started doing research and realized that weight gain can be a side effect of nexaplon. I was just not happy. I decided to get it removed and it was the best decision. I literally felt different as soon as it was taken out. I also lost 4 lbs the following week. I went back on LoLoestrin and it's fabulous! I was nervous about remembering to take it everyday but it's been pretty easy considering I'm not ready for another baby right now lol. I definitely recommend getting it removed, I feel so much better about myself. My boyfriend and family even said my spirit and energy feels lighter

I’m On it and I’m fine
