Flexible working request reasons

Hi ladies, I know this sounds daft but my work has been quite uninviting about my return. Not directly I guess but just not very responsive, I've arranged all the kit days and had to chase every email to get answers. They've only just sent me the flexible working request form. Even though I have proof my boss was open to it on email from a few months back. The form asks me to provide details of the change I'm requesting. I'm going from 5 days a week 9-5 to 3 days a week as childcare is so expensive it's not worth me being full time. I wondered if anyone has already filled one of these forms in and fancies sharing their wording? đŸ«¶ I'm shattered and need inspiration. It's pretty obvious stuff I just want it to be air tight so they can't be difficult with me. Thanks xx

I wrote a letter when I applied after the birth of my first child, I found the template online https://workingfamilies.org.uk/articles/sample-letter-to-request-flexible-working/

I used the above link too for mine

Thanks ladies. That's really helpful. I should have just googled but I over thought things and I've had a boy resist all of his naps today so just surviving đŸ«  thanks so much x

Have a look at the flexible working law that came in in April this year as it changed some of the things you’re required to say and what you’re not. You used to have to say how it impacted the company etc whereas now they’re not allowed to ask you that. There’s a helpful Instagram ‘pregnant then screwed’ that has lots of info that might help.

Quick question, for those of you going back less days then before, has your workload been decreased to reflect this and was your salary automatically pro rata or was there any discussion around this? Thank you
