Is anyone else just so insanely bored

Like just watching the world go by on Instagram knowing you can’t do anything anymore? I never see anyone, or do anything. I don’t even listen to music anymore. And it’s not going to change…? I feel like I’m trapped. All I do is sit in the living room and wash clothes. I miss my freedom so much. It’s actually painful. And I hate my partner honestly our relationship is just dying. I have no motivation to bring it out again. As if I’m not tired enough.

aw babe on some days I'd defo say ..me to. Dont feel bad these must be such common feelings as so much of babyhood is spent in and around the house controlled by naps and feeds, its so easy to feel trapped on a cycle of mundane jobs. On days like this I try to change my mindset and remind myself their at their littlest age right now and this season of life will change again even if it doesn't feel like it will right now and so will my level of freedom, but one day I will miss this. Appreciating the little things helps like if you love music why not put the radio on in the background while doing your jobs sometimes I hear a great song and it can totally uplift my day. It's hard not to but comparing life to Instagram is such an energy drain the grass is greenest where you water it 💚

I know it’s cliche to say “the baby should fit into your life” but it’s what we really strive for here. We make a point to try our best to do all of the things we used to do pre-baby (hiking, cafes, parks, meeting friends, etc.) obviously there are limitations like you can’t take your baby raving, and sometimes with weird sleep schedules or developmental leaps, it’s too much, but in those cases, like above, I try to remind myself to be present because this is just the phase that we’re in now and we don’t get it back again. I’m not a couples counsellor but maybe doing some of the things you used to do together might help you and your partner get back into your old rhythm? Oh and making mum friends who have babies in the same age range as us definitely helped! They absolutely get it

Delete Instagram, I did! You don't need it. It will help not seeing everyone else and just focus on you and your family. I feel you on this wholeheartedly. Just today I was thinking...... is this it... FOREVER. Some days are miserable and boring as hell! I tend to alternate boring days, with doing anything but laundry, cooking and cleaning days. Depending on what your interests used to be before motherhood there does seem to be a baby versions of everything these days! Have a look on Eventbrite, or other event apps. For myself I have actually found daytime bring your baby raves, stand-up comedy, and sip 'n' paint sessions I'm up for trying. No relation advice sorry - I'm a solo mum. But if you hate him that much, maybe you'd be happier being a single/solo mum too. Happy mum = Happy baby, whatever the family set up may be.

Felt the same even the part of despite partner I didnt go online much anymore it bring me down I know there will be someday when I can get my life a bit more moving Now at the end of the day just enjoy watching the show cuz it is only time I'm in peace I can sit still and no one want anything from me
