Hey moms have any of u had a good experience with iud birth control? Or any form of birth control that doesn't cause weight gain on hormone changes..

I had an IUD for a couple years, really enjoyed it. Only got it out to try for a baby.

I really enjoyed the copper IUD I had after my last pregnancy. I plan on getting it again this time as well.

My obgyn recommended me to get the mirena iud

I’ve had the Mirena and Kyleena several times and would recommend either. I currently have the Kyleena. It makes my periods super light. The Mirena lasts a few years longer, and the Kyleena has slightly less hormones.

I got a tubal and am thrilled. I’ve heard horror stories about IUDs. I knew someone who’s IUD moved and she had to have emergency surgery. I had terrible side effects for birth control so I used spermicide.
