I had extreme social anxiety as well. I believe it stems from my disability. I get afraid sometimes as well because of the unknown. I sometimes fidget with my hands or constantly keep finding things on my phone to distract myself. I hope you can find the help you need because we shouldn’t have to be afraid of leaving the house. We have lives too and it time to take it back from anxiety
It’s so refreshing to hear others go through what you feel. Thank you for the support. I’ll definitely try therapy it’s been on my mind but I kept putting it off. I hope we can all get on with our lives without anxiety. Wishing you girls the best thank you for the messages
I have gad and it's a struggle. I listen to daily affirmations. Sometimes i use prescribed anti anxiety medications. What helps me most is recognizing that my child deserves these experiences and how you can transform them to be positive memories- as well as light exposure therapy for yourself. For situations you really cannot face alone definitely recommend bringing a friend or family member. Seek out income based therapy in your area or telehealth...sometimes you can get free therapy. It's difficult and i am in the trenches with you. Feel free to dm if you'd like to talk. Sending love.
