Spending Christmas alone with my kids. I bought stuff to make a huge meal and literally no one is coming. I don’t even feel like cooking anymore. I’m lonely as heck and just for once I want someone to think about me….. I can’t even remember the last time I got a present.

Baby I’ve waited for 12 years for a present…he’s almost a teen now. Splurge on yourself later today it’s about the kids. We had noone show up either but we still went all out && the smiles on their faces was enough for me.
&& during the first few years heck sometimes I ordered in or even went to a thanksgiving dinner if I didn’t want to cook at a soup kitchen. You do what’s best for your family! Actually yesterday I thought of going to a free lunch for Christmas with my kids. But the line was too long and I was exhausted.

@Nat you're absolutely right. You can cook your favorites and get yourself something nice. Have the kids watch your favorite Christmas movies. Make it fun. It can be all about you and no one else has to know. Merry Christmas 🎄 ❤️
