January is always a tough month to get through. As a single mum too and 98% of the time just being us, I’m trying to stay present for her, enjoy that I get to spend time with her and do things that will bring some joy, even if that’s just going for a walk getting fresh air. Be kind to yourself.

I no plus I’m sick and have bin since Christmas just got no engery but I have to just get on with it haha

It’s so tough as we have no option but to get on with it. If you’re sick just let yourself rest indoors, put some good films on with your little one, don’t feel guilty for just resting and recouping.

It’s a lonely life being alone with kids, but… it will get better once you go back to work again. It’s very nice to have work mates to socialise with during the day 😊

@Sarah yes same I need to go shopping so just managed to get sorted and out the door

Me too, I find December and January the worst to get through

@Megan I’ve recently admitted to feeling lonely, it’s such a difficult thing to acknowledge. Is there anyone you’re close to that you could confide in?
