Does anyone practice gratitude? Heard a little about it and thought I’d like to try it but wasn’t sure how.

Is it best to say it out loud or in your head? Can you repeat the same things or should you try to look for new things. Do you do it morning or night. Any tips appreciated. Thanks ladies 🙏

I’ve made my own affirmation/gratitude cards. I get my husband to choose from and I remind myself of the words though out my day. It gives me a positive thought to fall back on if I’m falling into negatives ones 🤍

@Sophie thank you. Didn’t think of doing cards but that could be a good prompt. I used cards for hypnobirthing. How many do you have? What sort of things do you write on them?

I forget sometimes but it’s great to write out everything you are grateful for or say it out loud each morning when you wake up. It helps us to get in a positive mindset and to let the universe/God whatever you believe in that we are grateful for everything we have and everything coming our way. To grow and receive more out of life you have to have gratitude first.

I do I say it in my head personally but it can’t hurt to say it out loud it’s a personal preference. I do it on the regular daily is best if you can. You can either think about or write down what you’re thankful / grateful for like life itself , a roof over your head , your kids, health , a phone to utilize etc or you can practice it as things come up in your life. I find it helpful to practice gratitude particularly when life gets tough / rough . It assists with keeping your mindset positive and focused on what’s really important in the overall scheme of things

Write lists or say out loud or text someone Try tying it to a habit you already have eg brushing teeth as may help you remember

Thanks for the advice ladies I’m going to give it a go this weekend. Hoping to have a more positive mindset this year 💫

In fact not give it a go, I’m going to make sure I do it!
