bbhugme saved my life 😅 (seriously could not recommend it more highly, it was the only way I could sleep)
Bbhugme is great, I had sciatica and it helped so much. It’s also pretty flexible so you can use it however you want and change the firmness. I ordered the Bella moon but sent it back as it was awful quality and not very firm.
I just got a cheap U shaped one on amazon which is great, but I did notice the bigger my bump got, what I actually preferred was just a small normal pillow under my bump when lying down. Might be worth you giving that a go first before spending money because that may be all you need.
I have a Jojo Maman Bebe pregnancy pillow which is basically a dupe of the bbhugme. I don’t think they make it anymore but based on how much I still use it, I definitely think the bbhugme is worth the investment! I would definitely buy it if anything happened to my current pillow and I’m not even planning to be pregnant again 😂 I used it while I was pregnant of course, but also while breast and bottle feeding, while I pumped, a barrier during playtimes and for tummy time. She’s 20 months now and she has fully claimed the pillow as her own and marches around the house with it, wears it like a boa, puts it on her head like a hat… I’d say we’ve used it every day since I bought it over 2 years ago.
I’m with @Adele I just use a regular pillow under my bump 🤷🏼♀️ but I have VERY limited space and not sure if I could even fit a pregnancy pillow with me lol. I wanted to try the Frida mom adjustable cooling pillow though. I’m a hot sleeper and this pillow can go in L U or C shapes too which is nice. It’s also cheap. They sell it at Walmart and the reviews I read are good.
I have the bellamoon from my first pregnancy and was v excited to get it out again asap! It’s great because you can unzip the end bits and I was using one end for breastfeeding too. I find it super comfortable
I used both the Bbhugme and an ordinary cushion. Bbhugme has washable cotton jersey covers and it will not get lumpy. I used it as a feeding pillow as well and it's still in superb condition.
Vinted. I slept with a dream genii that I loved. 50 quid brand new, 5er on Vinted and it looked brand new. I honestly wouldn't spend much on one because you don't know until you try whether you'll get on with any or a certain one. Even that one I barely used because I preferred to sleep without. Vinted is your best friend!
@Adele thanks I have tried a regular pillow between my knees. I’m only 13 weeks so the bump isn’t yet a problem just finding it difficult to keep the pillow in place at night so was thinking if there was something long to hug that might be easier. @Dani Marie I did see that in John Lewis but it’s constantly out of stock so not sure where to get that from in the UK :)
I have 3 different pillows for 3 different purposes. I took a secondhand Tommee Tippee c-shaped pillow from a friend which has a hard end and a soft end. I use it for lounging around on the sofa as it fits quite nicely on that. Then I bought a bbhugme because I have PGP and everywhere said that type was amazing for that. They were right (once I’d asked my physio how to actually position the pillow for maximum benefits). I fold it up and tuck it between my legs and it sits between them like a third leg and it’s really comfy. Then my bump grew and I wanted support for that while I slept. I tried to use the bbhugme all lengthened out so it was between my legs and also under my bump, but my bump is on the smaller side so the pillow didn’t really support it (because most of the support was still needed between my legs) So I bought the babybub, which sort of acts like a door stop wedge to support your bump and your back. It works really well for my small bump! Feel like a pillow pro 😆
I forgot which one I had but I felt like it was useless and took up space on the bed and I couldn’t cuddle with my husband anymore
@Bethan I also got a dreamgenii and it was great, 5er on Facebook marketplace haha. It supports both back and belly, which is useful. I went from being a side sleeper to wanting to sleep on my back in pregnancy, which isn't advised, so it was good to stop me rolling onto my back in the night, but I could chop and change sides for sleeping all night as it didn't matter too much if the long side was in front or back.
@Jody I love my husband but I am boiling at night. We have had frost and snow in the uk the last couple of days and the window has been wide open every night with a low fog duvet on as well 🙈 cuddles will resume when my normal body temperature resumes haha.
@Lauren I don’t know if I have PGP but I do get quite a bit of pelvic pain already so it sounds like the bbhugme would do what I was thinking it would and help support my legs. Definitely sound like an expert in the pillow department! 🙈

I just used a normal pillow for between my legs and then a small wedge shaped pilllow for behind my back to keep me from rolling backwards. I just found a pregnancy pillow too annoying for when I had to get up to pee
@Emily sleep is just very important to me 😆 the bbhugme is very supportive in a way that stuffing pillows are not (it’s filled with beans or rice or something, I dunno). It’s quite long, so I fold it over which I really enjoy, but also sometimes my partner steals half of it for between his legs because he has back problems, so we share and he loves it 😂
I got both the Bbhugme and baby bub (half-moon shape) on Vinted and I much prefer the Bbhugme at the moment! It’s so flexible and it’s hugely help with my hip pain. My bump is still on the small side though, so I’m keeping the baby bub in case I find it helpful/extra supportive when I’m bigger 😌
I like the J shape. The bottom of the J, I wrap my legs around and was able to put my belly on the pillow too which helped my back. I still sleep with it after giving birth a few months ago.
None for me
Tommee tippee, I'm still using it now, just for the sake of it 🙉
@Martina I didn’t realise Tommee Tippee did pregnancy pillows will take a look :)
Might depend on the shape you prefer. I had Bellamoon and loved it! Still use it on occasion now, 2.5 years later. I thought it was really comfortable, and liked how you could adjust the shape and use it for breastfeeding, feeding, holding baby etc.
I love my bbhugme, I still use it now in bed when nursing baby, or just for comfort reading ect. Took it to hospital too. Like that you can adjust the firmness ✨
@Emily yes in Argos back in 2023 was £50 or so, best pillow, it hugs you back to front and long enough to use your for your head too😊
Momcozy F shaped works well for me
