Anyone else feel lonely and fed up and not enjoying Mat leave or just me lol? I’m a single parent and feel bad for saying some days I’d rather just be at work. it’s so hard atm. Sleep regression, grumpy baby to try even get ready

I feel this so deep in my soul. I’m not originally from the place I now live in so I don’t have many friends outside of work so when I do go out it’s literally just me and the baby😂 My partner is great but with him working I don’t see him much I am so so bored, I’ve watched so much tv, I’ve done the same walk about 50 times. Have all the songs from his play mat memorised. Little one is now teething so he’s miserable🫣 Can’t wee/shower in peace😭 Thinking of going to an aquarium because it’s meant to be good sensory for babies so gunna try that😅 When he didn’t want to be put down and I was so boredddd I put him in a carrier and started baking😂all day every day for like a week and got bored of that to😂

@Rosie Haha I live in a palce I know but keep my friend circle small and they are working or busy, and I’m anti social sometimes which don’t help. I can’t say I get any time at all except when my LO naps. Like he goes to bed so late it’s then my bedtime and I feel so worked up and drained with 2 other children. But yep, even got lots of toys for Xmas but when you’ve been up since 5am and then play and okay ie try to entertain and do housework or a walk all day it’s just pants isn’t it Haha i feel ya! I wait until my LO naps or falls asleep but it’s like he knows and the second I step in the bath he wakes up and I try to speak to him if he’s next to the bath but he cries half the time lol! Ahhhh! Yeah I’ve heard that too! Don’t have one near by and my cars broken so had to sell it so now feel even worse. My boy hates the carrier and my back and arms ache lol!!!

Yeah seriously I’m so fucking bored. I feel like none of this really comes naturally to me and I worry my little man is bored too. And the sleep regression is no joke, I’m exhausted.
