Lonely AF

I've come to accept I have no true friends, since having my second baby whose now 4 months I can count on 1 hand whose checked in or come to see us and then I've not heard anything back. I've had to reach out to friends myself and they've said they will come over soon but never actually come over. I understand everyone's life has to carry on whilst mine has slowed down and I'm stuck in motherhood but no one even checks in on me, I'm so lonely most of the time I feel like a shell version of myself. I already have a 7 year old so she keeps me busy when she's home but seriously needs adult conversations and support 😭

I also feel the same. I can count on one hand who's been here since my son was born, he's 5 months now. Motherhood can be terribly lonely, but if you ever need someone to chat to, feel free to message 😊

Loool same here! I have no friends now because i don’t make effort with those who don’t with me! Even my family are complaining that none of them have seen my daughter since New Year’s Eve.. but they all know where I live🙄 it is lonely as hell but tbh I’m used too it now and it’s so peaceful. @Courtney I have that problem. And with family members. I'm not chasing anyone to be in my kids life.

@Elise it’s so annoying! I got a shitty text yesterday about it & it really pissed me off! I wouldn’t care normally but she only mentioned about her and my grandma not seeing my daughter since New Year’s Eve & not my son! I just can’t be arsed with people anymore, they know where I am, they have my number.. it’s not my responsibility for people to see my children 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Elise literally! My mum came round earlier and said she will forget who they all are, so I just said I didn’t realise it was my responsibility for you all to see her, you know where I am & she told me not to be mean🤣🤣

@Courtney I did question myself at one point, wondering if I wasn't making the effort with these people (baby dads side of the family) his dad is the same sadly. As soon as I stopped asking if he'd like to see his child, he never asked to see him. Not my problem.
