Hello mamas !
I am on maternity leave and my work pays the government pay (700) . I would like to have my full 1 year maternity which means last 3 months I won't be payed. Will I be able to get help from government with rent and or universal credit etc

It depends on your household income, and other factors. Do an online benefit calculator and fill in as if you are in the unpaid part of maternity and it will give you an idea.

No. It depends on your households income…
You can in theory be eligible for Universal Credit whilst on maternity leave, but you'd need to use the benefits calculator to factor in your partner's pay (if you have one) and any savings and investments you have to see whether you will qualify
