Maternity pay
Will it keep going down after 6 months? I’ve been on maternity pay just over 6 months now and my wage has gone down is this normal. I’m on universal credit will they top me up?

I got 90% of my wage for 6 weeks and then after that I got £736 a month universal credit topped me up but it varied every month due to my partner working full time & I have picked up a few shifts at work while on maternity x

Your wage changes every 3 months So your go to statuary pay it’s something like £156 per week and then your last 3 months will be no pay. It’s why I returned to work at 9mnths with my first baby. This time I don’t have that option, I believe universal will top up though Hope this helps, I think it’s correct
