Dentist?

Hi! I took my daughter yesterday and we were in and out within 5mins. They just take a look at their teeth and gums, and give you general advice. They then ask to see your baby every 6 months

Yeah my dentist told me as soon as the first tooth is through. Ive just had issues finding a dentist accepting patients😂

My 3 year old is still on an nhs waiting list for a dentist place. She has never been to the dentist.

I’m taking him with me to my next check up in feb so they can have a look, he has 4 teeth now but they did say it was more just to start getting him used to the dentist than anything else x

@Tracie NHS dentistry just doesn't pay the dentists well. They can get a lot more money going private. So a lot of dentists are switching along with funding not being there to enable there to be more NHS dentists. Some areas are worse then others for getting an NHS dentist then others. I pay private for my dentist but it does mean I haven't had work done that needs doing because I don't have £600 to spend on my teeth, it would be about £200 under NHS for the same treatment (which I still don't have but it would be easier).

Mine said just to bring him to my next appointment so our 6 month checks line up, luckily they take on kids if you are already a patient so we had no issues signing him when I went last he was only 4 months so I must be due soon. Thanks for the reminder!

We just found our first two bottom teeth this week and I have the dentist myself tomorrow. Does anyone know if private practices accept kids? Me and my hubby are at the same place so would be much easier to take baby there too
