I had it when I was 21. I was spotting for about 2 weeks

Literally was spotting for like 3 months 😭

It’s been awhile.. I don’t quite remember. I’d said, few days to a week(?). I’m getting back on it at my 6 week’s appointment (February).

I got it placed right after delivery so I wouldn’t help with that but after a year I got my period and it’s been 19 months since placement and I’m still spotting after my period here and then. They are lighter tho. I’m always wearing a pad even after my period ends just for that ocasional unexpected spotting.

So it looks like it does vary. I just got my period & I'm noticed some heavy bleeding hopefully after my period is gone. The bleeding will lighten up
