As above you can send them to nursery at whatever age, are you on about pre school maybe? X
Which part of the UK are you in? England/Wales is different from Scotland and I’m assuming NI. Even different council areas have different rules for applying so it really depends where you are x
In wales they can start from the term after their third birthday so like you my daughter was born in September meaning she can’t start until the January. Our local authority tends to post on social media when they are taking applications for the new term so could keep an eye there or speak to your health visitor and she should be able to advise
To add onto this not many schools take children aged 3 (nursery) full time anymore it quite often depends on the area of the school. The school I work at we do 1 term of 9-11 second term is 9-1 then third term they come full time. Other schools will have their own policies
I'm from England. Children start going to nursery from 3 years of age. They can go before as well but you have to pay and it's quite expensive. So on 7th of September she will turn 3yrs.
You get 15hrs free if both parents work. But you get 30hrs free when child turns 3yrs. If you send your child before they turn 3, so for example when they are 1 or under, you will have to pay privately
So I will send my toddler when she turns 3. I just want to find out the cut off dates

She can go to nursery whenever you want her to. You’d start applying as soon as you know when you want her to go and what days. Under 12m they need a higher staff ratio so you’d need to enquire sooner.
