Best part-time jobs for moms?

Hi! I’m a new mom and currently have a very intense, demanding job. I’m considering leaving my current job and doing something part-time. Does anyone know, or have thoughts, on what the best part-time jobs for moms are?

I think insta cart is part time or you make your own hours I’m not familiar with it but I have seen it on indeed

Are you able to work a job you don’t love? Do you have a strong skill set? Have you considered consulting work?

Do you have a college degree? There's a huge demand for substitute teachers and you may be able to get a license for subbing in your state. I currently substitute teach at my son's school while I replace my accounting job

Bartending. If you do it for a big hotel chain they have full benefits starting at around 15-20 hrs a week and since you’re working the night shift your kids are asleep and don’t even know you’re gone while baby’s dad or someone like grandma is asleep in the next room if there’s an emergency. Also bartenders in big cities make big tips, hotels often do automatic gratuity on their bills so you are making 20%+ on bills as well as minimum wage hourly. I know a few mom bartenders who make six figures working 3-4 nights a week.

@Renee that is insane, you’d never get that money in the uk from bartending! 🤩

@ incognito would you consider working for yourself? That’s what I did in Mat leave. What skills or industry are you in? X

@Sarah I'm a paediatric nurse in the NHS, any ideas please ?

@Samina if you’re willing to learn social media and content creation skills then YES definitely! You wouldn’t have to show your face if you didn’t want to, or be an ‘influencer’. There’s a TON of routes that don’t involve that xx

@Sarah it helps to be near a big sports stadium too. But yeah it can be good money for minimal hours.
