It's not for a UTI, well, not in the UK anyway. It's testing for proteins in your urine as that is a sign of preclampsi

@Jayde oh, I'm in US. They told me they check for a UTI every appointment because they can be asymptomatic in pregnant women
You can bring a small mirror with you and use it to see where your other hand needs to be to catch the urine! (I wouldnt use your phone for it just incase you drop it on the floor. )
I hold the cup up against my pee hole so there’s no way I can miss
@Amanda not all places allow this due to possible contamination or other external factors they cannot control if it not their collection containers. Awesome if they do allow it though!

I just touch the rim of the cup to my skin, I never miss anymore. If it’s not wide enough to cover the full vulva, just make sure it’s closer to the hood than the vag hole and ur all set!
I put the cup touching so nothing could leak 😂 my first pregnancy I lived 5 minutes from the hospital. If I peed before I left I couldn’t pee when I got there but if I didn’t pee before I left I’d about pee before I got on the elevator. I literally could not win!
