Terrible twos

My sons turning 2 this month and suddenly he’s just become so angry all the time, always shouting saying go away and no to me and his dad suddenly hates everything like getting dressed, undressed, eating bathing or just generally doing anything that isn’t playing. It’s making me feel like I’m completely failing him as a parent. I’m trying to be patient and calm but sometimes I just cry in frustration because I don’t know what else I can do. He’s not like this with his grandparents or his nurseries! What am I doing wrong!!!!!

My daughter the same I feel like I’m failing but I know it’s all part of them growing up, even at bed time she has a melt down sometimes as soon daddy appears she stops your not alone as she turns 2 next week

This sounds literally exactly like ours! The saying go away, no daddy, and refusing to get dressed. Apparently he’s eating great at nursery but dinner at home has been horrible. You’re not doing anything wrong

My girl is exactly the same and it’s so annoying that she isn’t like it for nursery or grandparents either. But the nursery manager said it’s because they feel comfortable around us to show their true feelings. They are going through just a big development at this age with feelings and awareness they just don’t know how to regulate their emotions fully yet.
