My girl stayed at my parents for the first time in January while me and my husband went to a hotel down the road so we were close by. Baby girl was fine and had a lovely time with nanny and grandad but me and my husband didn’t sleep 😂 we weren’t ’worried’ about her as we knew she was in safe hands and my parents know her routine very well, but we missed her lots. Saying that, it was good to have some personal time to just be us again, although 95% of our conversation was about our baby haha. We did say we won’t be doing it again any time soon due to missing her a lot; our next night away isn’t until July. As long as you trust your parents fully you’ll be fine and I’m sure your baby will have a great time.

@Ellie oh yes trust them 100% and they know her routine too. They'll be looking after her when I go back to work so I guess it's good we are doing this. My parents offered as they're missing her too. Which is sweet! Thank you for your reassurance and kind words ❤️

I cried my eyes out on the kitchen floor the first time I was leaving my son for a girls date. My mum shooed me out, sent lots of pics and updates, I REALLY enjoyed my eye and rushed home to get my boy the next day. Enjoy your me time. Baby will love it too I’m sure! X

@Hollie thank you I cried after she left, but was OK got regular updates and she's happy 😊 really enjoying herself wasn't interested in our video calls either. So makes me relaxed knowing she's happy!
