Invisibility powers, anyone else?

Since becoming a mum, I have become absolutely invisible. I no longer matter or exist even. When people come to my house, they have said they only come for baby. If I'm asked a question - which is rare -, they don't listen to the answer or seem very disinterested. Yesterday, I went to my partners family's gathering and we were swarmed by people wanting to see the baby upon our arrival. They said hi to my partner, were all over baby (which I was holding), it took 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. I've become furniture basically. Is this in my head or us anyone else feeling this as well?

I know what you mean, although I have people cancelling on me all the time to come around to see the baby. I guess things just change when you become a mum :(

Omg yes 100% I could've written this myself!! Everyone calls me up saying "I'll come round to see baby" fair enough they're making an effort with him, but no one's ever interested in talking to me. I can't get a word in because whenever I talk I get ignored or talked over, as they're too busy talking to baby. The whole asking questions and ignoring answers I can really relate too. And talking THROUGH the baby which really irks me the most. "Aw tell mummy hurry up and make your dinner" "have you been out with mummy today" fair enough if he can answer but he can't and you don't want to listen to me🤣

Can't stand people talking to me through the baby
