Daily routines

I often struggle with knowing what to do during the day, or even night time. I do struggle with motivation for a lot of things but then have also always wondered what is ot that I'm meant to be doing during the day or my life. So I was wondering what are people's routines? What do people do throughout the days/weeks? I wish I had some guru person to tell me what I need to do in life. If any one wants to share that would be lovely thankyou 😅

Are you a SAHM or do you work? X

New to being a SAHM now that I have two. My routine is: 6 am wake up with my partner and make coffee. Refill my water cup. Make our bed 6:30 Toddler wakes up at she gets a pouch then she makes eggs with her dad. 7 baby wakes up I go and nurse her then pump while she watches me. 7:30 partner goes to work so I take girls to toddlers room. Set up tummy time for the little one. Play blocks or color with toddler. 8 toddler has a banana and yogurt Baby has first nap. I start laundry and unload dishwasher and load new dishes 9 nurse baby while toddler watches 15 minutes of a show 9:30 we are playing with a sensory bin in the living room while listening to music 10:30 toddler has peanut butter crackers for a snack 11 baby has next nap toddler is playing by herself in her room while I clean litter box and fold and put away laundry. 12 toddler has lunch baby nurses 1-3 playing in toddlers room and outside. Baby gets a bath. 3 baby has nap toddler watches 15 minutes of show with snack

While I prep dinner and do dishes as I go. 4 baby wakes up from last nap has swing time while I cook dinner. 5-5:45 eat dinner 6 bath time for toddler 6:30-7 bedtime for both 7:30-8 clean kitchen sweep and mop kitchen living room and dining room. 8 take a shower 8:15 watch reels or a show. 9:30 pump and dream feed baby and go to sleep. It’s not always perfect but I try to stick to schedule as much as possible. I love schedules 😅

@Lewanda I am yes. Have two in school, and a nearly 1 year old. X

@Brittany I like the routine of everything! Definately goes to show I need to be doing way more. Especially with the nearly 1 year old 🙈 x

I’m really not big on routine much myself tbh but I do work three days a week so I think that makes it difficult for the days I am home to cram everything in and spend time with my toddler. I normally wake up at the same time as my toddler, come downstairs and have coffee/ breakfast. We get dressed and ready for the day at the same time, and then play together. Then we either take the dog for a walk or do some independent play while I do some cleaning. Then we do laundry together, and make lunch. After lunch she is ready for a nap so I usually pick up some extra work while she naps and then when she wakes up it’s either dog walk or independent play while I clean (depends on weather what time of day I take the dog out). After that it’s usually time for making dinner so we make dinner together (or she watches in her tower🙈). After dinner it’s clean up, bath time and we read before bed. She usually falls asleep between 8pm and 9pm. It totally depends on how much you’re expected to do and

How you want to spend your day. I feel like I spend a lot of time running errands and doing chores but since I’m working I have to squeeze in as much as I can when I can so I don’t get too behind🙈 x

We're riding on vibes over here. Not really a routine. My baby wakes up around 9:30 so that means I wake up. He's 7 months. We shower then head to the living room I have a bucket of toys small enough for him to dig through . He will play until breakfast is done. We will eat and play the rest of the day. I may take him outside for a walk or to visit his cousins. Sometimes we may run errands. I will cook dinner sometime around 8pm. Chill with the baby some more before bed. Then I will clean the house around 11pm or midnight. My husband doesn't come home until 2 am. I just make sure food is done and the house is clean before he comes home.
