i got one with insurance and it yes it is helpful and very worth using
I hired one and it was great for the early stages x
I’ve never used it
In my case it was absolutely worth it for the first past of labour before contractions got more intense. After that a birthing pool.
I’ve bought one, it was only £30 which I found was the same price as renting one and it had good reviews 😊
I’ve used a tens machine for many years with bad period cramps and it’s always made a big difference to me so I will definitely be using a TENS during labour too! You want to make sure you are using it very early on it labour though as it works by stimulating nerves to release endorphins which help reduce pain, so you don’t want to wait until the pain is really bad or it won’t do much to help
I used one in labour and it was a godsend as I had back labour. I have one again for this labour xx
If I’m being honest I found it useless in my first labour. I personally felt that it didn’t touch the sides
AMAZING for the first stages. I’d highly recommend getting one.
Yes I used mine at the beginning of labour and it did help 🙂 xx
I found it very helpful in the early stages. Once my contractions ramped up, it did very little
I tried using mine with my first but it didn't do much for me (could be that I couldn't set it up correctly)... Might try again this time!
I can see it being helpful for a longer first stage of birth. But mine was so fast last time I’m not bothering this time.
Hi can any one plz tell me which one tens machine will be good as there are too many in amazone. Does labour tense machine and pain relief machine are same?

@arfeen I'd get one pre-programmed for labour, like the ones they sell in Boots. I have a generic one that I used to use when I used to do sports semi-professionally and I failed to set it up properly to help me through labour, it did absolutely nothing...
No experience yet but my partners family rented one for me to use when the time comes!
