Meds cost IVF
Hey there, I live near Atlanta GA, and we’re just getting started with our IVF process, my husband already did a sperm aspiration and we are going through the payments to get started with my part of the process. The question is: How much did you spend on the medications? All the shots and everything else was needed? Just for information… thanks 🙏🏻

I want to say we paid about $2,000-$3,000 for stim meds. Transfer meds aren’t bad at all. We used insurance for the transfer meds (PIO, estrogen, progesterone suppositories), but did out of pocket for the stim meds because it was going to cost way too much of our fertility allowance and didn’t really save us much.
I got mine through my clinic since they work with an affordable pharmacy. I think it was maybe $2000 as part of the package?

I think it was $4,000 just for meds. Initially $3,500ish but then I had to buy more PIO once I was pregnant.
