I have lost 5 stone on them. they have been life changing for me x
Side effects have been manageable for me, nothing you can’t handle. Best thing to do is just see how you get on as everyone is different x
I personally wouldn’t choose to go down that route. I gained a lot of weight pre pregnancy as just got comfortable in life and then during pregnancy obviously gained weight also. However since about 8 weeks old I would walk daily with my baby in the carrier. At about 6months onwards this would be 4/5/6km daily for her morning nap in the carrier. Somehow this, along with healthy but not restricted eating, I lost more weight than expected. I lost over 20kg miraculously so sing the praises of walking with my little weight in the carrier!
Its not personally for me- but I have heard mixed reviews and people who have had quite severe side effects and others who are absolutely fine on it. The most important thing is if you go on it still manage what you are eating - you eat significantly less so it’s easy for people to fall into the habit of not watching at all what they are eating therefore will just to have snacky bits and crack on with their day and that can cause some health issues . Little meals of lots of protein and nutrition to fuel your body… and that way you are creating good eating habits for when you plan to come off x
