Promethazine
So I’m taking Cyclizine for nausea which was working but now not and been prescribed promethezine but I’m scared about cleft lip and birth defects? Help please

@Lucy it’s so hard! So scary with the beds This is my second time too and it’s not as bad but can feel it ranking up the further I get along 🤦🏼♀️ 7weeks tomorrow just hoping it starts to settle from 10/11 like it did with my daughter I’m just so miserable and gave so much mum guilt not being able to be a good mum xx
I’m currently on promethezine and I took this with my first all the way through she was completely healthy, I wasn’t made aware of any side effects on this just was told I wasn’t able to take it in my third trimester, maybe contact your midwife about it to voice any concerns

I’m afraid I can’t advise but I posted today saying the cyclizine is not working for me either. So I’m probably going to be doing similar to you very soon. Just solidarity really x
