Also to add, im allegic to latex, i used skyn condoms as theyre non latex xx
Me my son is 14 month not looking to get pregnant. Not birth control. I use a Flo app, don’t let him finish in me. Any slight thought he did I plan b.
@Lucy Thank you!
@Brianna okay, I think I used that app before. Thank you!
We do natural family planning! Birth control doesn't work for me, but if we do use condoms we do latex free your local health office shoukd have some for free!!
I use ovulation strips, condoms/pull out. Not necessarily fool proof though as I ovulated pretty quickly after my period and hadn't started testing for ovulation again and got pregnant 😅 Also don't rely 100% on period apps without using strips and/or testing your bbt, relying 100% on an app is how our second came to be 😅
i track my period and take ovulation tests monthly. during ovulation we just don’t have penetrative sex, otherwise always pull out. don’t rely on when the period app says ovulation is happening because it can vary. it’s worked for over 2 years 🤞🏽
I really liked natural cycles and used it to successfully plan and prevent pregnancies for a number of years x
I did family planning for almost a year … and my family planning baby just turned a year so be weary!
Me we just do the pull out method and it’s been fine 🤷🏻♀️😂
I’m the same but don’t have periods yet so can’t track🤧
Me! I’m almost 7 months pp and don’t plan on having another one until my daughter is potty trained. I track my cycle using an app and use ovulation strips to see when I’m fertile and avoid sex on those days
I’m in similar boat trying to not get pregnant and don’t want to use an iud, right now I have ovulation strips through the Premom app, then you take a picture of the test strip and it lets you know what your LH level is.and when there is a LH surge,(which usually happens before ovulation). I’ve been seeing ads for ones where you can take your temperature as well and it’s more accurate. Natural cycles is another one I want to check out. I also have the nuva ring at home to use. It’s hard cause tracking your cycle is only 80 to 90 percent effective. It’s not bad but not like an iud.
I used Natural Cycles with my Oura Ring to plan pregnancy and now I’m using it to prevent. I really like it. Definitely need to use ovulation strips too to make sure it’s accurate. I had an iud and loved being on it but it wrecked my body when I came off it so I’m trying not to go back to hormonal bc

Use LH strips & BBT, I love the Premom app. Use condoms for the first half of your cycle, and you can safely have unprotected sex a few days after ovulation. You can only use the fertility awareness method (FAM) if you have a regular cycle. I recommend using condoms for a few months until you learn your cycle after getting your implant removed. Easyathome is the best brand of strips. Read up about temp tracking too, it’s extremely important to do both!
I have been birth control free most of my life with the exception of 2 failed IUD one punctured my uterus and had to be retrieved from my abdomen where it was free floating the other caused a partial ectopic. 8 years later I had an ovarian ectopic on the same side and lost my ovary and right tube due to bleeding to death internally. If you can track your periods and ovulation you can prevent pregnancy just as well as birth control. We can understand our bodies and learn our cycles. Firm believer birth control causes more harm than good. Proud of you for looking for better options for your body!
I use femometer to track my period and if im close to ovulation ill use condoms instead to save my self from getting pregnant xx
