Mirena iud lasts 5 years and you can possibly go without a period depending, nuvaring you put in once a month and take it out for your period. If my body would take birth control after baby #6, I would but my body ejects it after the 5th baby lol I'm getting my tube's out since I'm done being pregnant every year lol

There's been so many new cases of people getting ill with birth control. I've seen at least 3 instances on social media of women going through this.

To be honest I don't use any form of protection, no condoms, pull out method nor rhythm method. Im also on my third baby in 3 years.. God is good and if He doesn't want you to have more children, you won't. All will be well.🩷

I had nexplanon, I didn’t trust myself to stay on top of a pill or shot and I didn’t want anything in my uterus that could move and I end up pregnant cuz I can’t see it. It was rough on my emotionally the first year for sure but then I didn’t need to do anything for 4 years, after this baby though I will not be going back on so I’ll be asking my husband to get a vasectomy or back to condoms and no sex during my ovulation window

I was on BC for 15 years ..other than initial weight gain i never had issues

@Natalie that's one of my fears . Gaining too much weight. How many pounds did you gain ? And which BC method did you use ?

@Janicee not much like maybe 7#? I was on oral BC… I wasn’t on any particular brand. I got moved around a lot to whatever was the current generic brand the pharmacy carried.

I'm on my second in two years after not having a child for 7 almost 8 years. I have 4 physically but we have 8 altogether. My husband wants to keep going but he also wants to have more us time... so birth control it is. He too fertile 🤣🤣🤣
