Same here! It’s only getting harder and harder as my baby doesn’t sleep much in the morning. I don’t even have time to cook for myself and eat 3 meals a day… nobody warned me about any of this.. 😕
@Sangee as far as cooking goes have you tried baby wearing? That’s how I manage to get any household tasks done like cooking or laundry
@Samantha Kurtz Yeah planning to buy one. Do you have any suggestions on which baby carrier would be good for baby’s back & neck support?!
@Sangee I’ve used a ton of different carriers and my favorite is the Tula free to grow! They’re a bit spendy but you can usually find them on marketplace super cheap, I got mine for $20 instead of the $180 they are new
@Samantha Kurtz Thank you for your recommendation. I’ll check out on marketplace to see if I can it..
So pretty! Trying to take baths, do my makeup most days, keep my hair nice, and do skincare a few days a week! Also getting my nails done tomorrow or Friday with my momma
Loveee your nails!! So pretty for spring. I feel you I feel so ugly everyday I hate my pp body I feel huge I hate this version of myself I miss feeling girly and pretty it’s definitely been one of my biggest struggles pp
It was so important to me to take care of myself by seeking help for ppd. Luckily the hospital where I gave birth had a free program providing group sessions, presentations, and a special PPD therapist. When I thought I knew the root cause, we discovered it was so much deeper. Then I can start moving forward. Keeping my husband in the know and us figuring out a good schedule so both of us have time to fill our cup was very helpful too. I’m 7 weeks pp and this is what has helped me so far 🤞🏼 Also this app! Find your tribe and go on stroller dates :)
i’ve struggled with this too! i’m also 7 weeks PP. the simple tasks have become absolutely impossible. i try to shower and do small things when my baby girl is asleep. it seems to be the only time i can. Otherwise i don’t get to do anything. hopefully it gets better for you!!
