Coil xxx

Pill and patch both failed me and the implant made me feel horrendous ... Currently on injection (sayana press) and all going smoothly with that

i’ve been on the coil since october and am really happy with it. i’ve been on several types of the pill before and the implant and found they made me a little crazy and depressed. but haven’t had any sort of effects with the coil x

@Skye @laurencan i ask what coil your using as was thinking about getting the copper coil as i struggle with hormones sometimes x

@Kyla I have the hormones one but iv been really fine with it I got put in during my c section 2 months ago

@Skye thats what i had before getting pregnant its just it took my body 6/7 months to get used to it and for the pain and bleeding to calm down and i dont really want to go through that again whilst trying to look after my daughter

I have the implant and haven't had any issues

This is my issue with a lot I find my hormones go crazy so was always good on the depo for over 10 years but was told all these risks now that I never knew about. Kinda wishing I’d had my tubes tied at birth as I’m 100% having no more 😅

Hormonal coil xx

I follow Natural Cycles app. It's FDA approved. I take my basal temps every morning. After my period I use condoms until after I know I've ovulated (confirmed by temperature rises) and then I don't use anything the rest of the month 😊

I’ve got the Mirena coil and it’s been brilliant! I had one before baby girl for 4 years then back in again when she was 9 weeks old 🤣

@Sophie i used this after i had my coil removed before i got pregnant, but im just not sure when it starts being ok to use again after giving birth as i havent had a period yet

@Kyla I've used since I had my little boy, but I didn't start temping consistently until she was around 3 months as his sleep started to be a bit more regulated then and I used condoms all the time until it was more consistent. He's 15 months now 😊

@Sophie thankyou thats good to know, my little ones just turned 3 months and now sleeping through so ill look at starting to use it again thankyou

@Sophie This is how I ended up getting pregnant with my second so soon 🫣 I only ended up having one period though so I’m guessing it wasn’t accurate maybe I have no idea but all I know is there’s only 1 year 18 days between them and I can’t trust it again 😅

I had the coil before my little one and then got it fitted again when he was about 4 months old - I love it! I've had the mini pill before but I was rubbish at remembering to take it.
