I went with the copper coil because it non hormonal. It worked well for me.

@Elisha thank you for your reply. Did it effect your periods? I’ve read and gp said it may cause heavier periods which worry me as mine are already incredibly heavy

Yeah but only at first. The first few were slightly heavier. Nothing drastic. Everyone is different though i imagine.

Mirena coil has been the best for my heavy periods and without many side effects x
