IUI and Ovidrel with Centrotide
So I had a 19 mm and 16 mm follicle on Wednesday (2 days ago). My RE prescribed me Centrotide to not release the eggs prematurely she wanted the 16 mm follicle to grow a bit more to have two follicles ovulate. Which makes sense. This morning I got a LH surge not a positive test but a surge so tonight I'll take Ovidrel at 10:00pm and IUI was moved up from Sunday to tomorrow at 9:30AM now. I'm a bit confused as the Centrotide was supposed to prevent me from ovulating🙄 Any insight from others that have used these two injections.

Good luck!! The Centrotide was a new one for me, but the trigger is supposed to make you ovulate within 36 hours so I think it's okay.!

My IUI was Wednesday, I had the same size follicles as well. I didn’t get Centrotide but I did get estrogen tablets to take, I triggered with ovidrel on Tuesday night at 8:30pm and my IUI was Wednesday at 9:30am. I did read that follicles grow 1-2 mm per day, so if you did ovulate just moving the date would help them grow
